Talking Today’s Agriculture: Sharing Different View Points to Connect Farm and Food

March 8, 2018 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

REGISTER HERE

Do you feel like consumers are speaking a different language? Michele provides a unique and challenging perspective from the other side of the plate. You’ll walk away from this high energy webinar with a greater understanding of the people buying food. She’ll help you be ready to talk about farm size, today’s agricultural practices, organic choices, food waste and more. This webinar will encourage you to consider WHY farmers use practices and consider the emotional interests of those outside of agriculture. You will receive a 6.5 step action plan to connect more effectively around the plate.

Talking Agriculture Webinar Series with Michele Payn

Are you ready to talk about agriculture in a different way? Have you been filled with good intentions to talk about farming with more people since our conference in December, but need some concrete tactics to help you get started? Our Talking Agriculture series has the answers for you! Michele Payn will be giving three fast-paced, information-packed webinars on growing the conversation around modern agricultural practices, animal welfare and grains. She’ll equip you with an action plan to put to work at home and give you ideas how to have better conversations around issues such as GMOs, animal welfare, sustainability, hormones, chemicals, farm size, antibiotics and more. Join us and help grow the farm and food conversation!

Michele Payn Michele Payn

Michele Payn, CSP, connects the people and science of food and farming as principal of Cause Matters Corp. She is known for being a community catalyst, a passionate advocate for the global agrifood system – and antagonizing people into action. Michele has worked with farmers in more than 25 countries and founded the weekly online Twitter conversation, AgChat and Food Chat. Michele’s degrees are in Agricultural Communications and Animal Science from Michigan State University. She is a best-selling author and has earned the Certified Speaking Professional designation, awarded to less than 10% of professional speakers globally. She resides with her daughter on a small farm in central Indiana, where they enjoy Registered Holsteins, MSU Spartans and arguing about science while cooking. Michele connects conversations between the food and farm communities at causematters.com and socially through @mpaynspeaker. She is the author of two books, No More Food Fights! and Food Truths from Farm to Table, a #1 best seller.
