Meals From the Farm
In a unique collaboration with four urban schools in the province, Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan is providing a free breakfast featuring Saskatchewan-grown foods to about 900 school kids.
Agriculture Month
Agriculture Month is a time to celebrate agriculture and share our stories about food and farming. It is proclaimed annually in Saskatchewan, providing the perfect opportunity to connect for those who grow food, and those who love to eat it.
Agriculture in the City 2021
Agriculture in the City is a community event with demonstrations highlighting farm animals, crops, food preparation, science activities and agriculture careers.
Champion Award
Each year, Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan works with a selection panel to recognize a person who strives to engage consumers about agriculture and helps farmers build public trust in our province and beyond.
Food Influencers Program
This program builds relationships with food writers, health professionals, chefs, food writers, and others who influence food choices.
Speak Up Training
For people who work in agriculture, it’s important to be able to communicate about how we produce food in Canada.
Student Program
Our Student Program focuses on post-secondary students in fields likely to have influence on food choices in the future, such as culinary students, dietitian students and future teachers.
2023 Ag Awareness Summit
Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan is co-hosting the 2023 Ag Awareness Summit with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture to celebrate ten years of work to build public trust in our industry. This event will bring people together from across the agricultural spectrum, from crops and livestock to horticulture and poultry production, as well as large and small-scale farms, agribusinesses, researchers, and government.
