In this tour, you’ll get to see inside a working Canadian egg processing facility and see for yourself what happens to an egg between the farm and your table. Enjoy your visit.
Farm fresh eggs are transported from the farm to the processing plant in large refrigerated trucks. The truck backs into an unloading dock where the plant employee unloads the entire truck one skid of eggs at a time.
Before eggs end up in the grocery store, they must be sorted by size, washed and dried, candled, graded and packaged.
