Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan is proud to lead the celebrations for Agriculture Week in Saskatchewan. This week is dedicated to highlight the vital role of farming and food production in our province. Each year, Agriculture Week offers a unique opportunity to share our stories – through events, activities, and online campaigns – that showcase how Saskatchewan farmers and ranchers raise their animals and grow crops to feed our communities.
Bringing People Together Through Food and Farming
At the heart of Agriculture Week is the desire to foster understanding and appreciation for the hardworking individuals behind the food on our tables. Just as a good meal brings people together, this week aims to unite communities in recognizing the importance of agriculture. It’s a time to celebrate the incredible food produced here and the dedicated people in the agricultural sector who make it possible.
Join us in celebrating Oct 4-10 and keep the conversation going all year long. Share your stories and use #CelebrateAg to help connect people with Saskatchewan agriculture.

Online Photo Contest: Capturing the Spirit of Saskatchewan Agriculture
An excellent way to #CelebrateAg is by participating in Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan’s Online Photo Contest, which runs from October 1-31, 2026. The contest is open to all Saskatchewan residents and invites you to submit photos that showcase what agriculture means to you – this could be farm scenes, farm faces, crops, animals, innovations, history, or Saskatchewan-grown foods. These images reflect the warmth, importance, and vibrancy of our agricultural community.
Starting October 1, we invite you to submit your photos and encourage friends and family to vote for their favorites.
For more information and to read the official contest rules, visit FFC SK’s Online Photo Contest.
