On behalf of Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan, thank you to all the host farms, volunteers, vendor partners, and attendees who made the third annual Saskatchewan Open Farm Days on August 8 & 9, 2026, a resounding success!

- Visitor Feedback: Over 5,000 visitors explored 37 participating locations across the province, connecting directly with local producers through cow milking, fruit picking, honey extraction, and guided bus tours. An incredible 97% of surveyed attendees said that the weekend improved their understanding and perception of agriculture, with families highlighting how rewarding it was to learn where their food comes from and discover local businesses.
- Host Feedback: Supported by 150 farmers and volunteers as well as 85+ local vendor partners, 81% of host farms reported a wonderful experience and expressed plans to return for future events. Hosts celebrated the high guest turnout, the smooth execution of regional bus tours, and successful new partnerships like the Regina urban passport program and the Western Development Museum showcase.
- Media & Promotion: Pre-event media interviews conducted by over 55% of host farms helped drive potential media reach to a record-breaking 20.2 million impressions, with word of mouth and social media driving strong, enthusiastic engagement across the province.
