Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan, in collaboration with our colleagues at Farm & Food Care Ontario and PEI, has launched a new LinkedIn group for agriculture communicators across the country.
Called Agri-Food Connect CDN, the group is intended to connect and support those who communicate to farmers or to others about farming and related issues. We often face similar issues and would benefit from sharing ideas about communications tactics, software tips, SEO strategies, event ideas, speaker suggestions, training opportunities and more.

Many ag communicators are working to engage consumers. This can be difficult work, especially when people are more disconnected from agriculture than ever—and they are constantly bombarded with mis- and disinformation. Agri-Food Connect can be a conduit to share information like best practices for consumer engagement, aligning with consumers on shared values, tactics for communicating through storytelling, and strategies for addressing misinformation.
Join the Agri-Food Connect CDN group on LinkedIn today – and don’t be shy about posting your questions, your learnings, your experiences to the group. Let’s lift each other up and continue to achieve more for farming and food production in Canada.
